Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available in Scottsdale, AZ, to support students with diverse learning needs in a school setting on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet varying disability needs and ensure inclusive classroom participation.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student performance, behavior, and growth to inform instruction and reporting.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment that promotes student development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance with special education laws.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently within a school team.
