Maintenance Technician I- $23/HR- DOE

 

A local company in Willis is searching for a Maintenance Technician with 1+ years of industrial experience to assist in daily operations. This is a temp-hire position with growth opportunities.

 

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to read and write English
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work occasional night shifts and some Saturdays as required
• Flexibility to adjust hours/days based on production deadlines and workload

Responsibilities

• Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
• Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions
• Perform regular preventive maintenance according to the established PM schedule
• Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation
• Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified
• Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools (training provided)
• Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Assist with the installation of new production equipment and required infrastructure
• Read and interpret work instructions and execute work accordingly
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
