Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – $650 SIGN ON BONUS Job details Job Type – LPN Full time Full Job Description We are currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse. A qualified Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Services are furnished in accordance with Agency policies. Benefits Competitive Pay Part/Full Time Medical Benefits Dental Benefits Vision Coverage Insurance: Life, Accident, Death, Disability, Indemnity Referral Bonuses FSA 401(K) Plan $650 Sign On Bonus Responsibilities Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries Assist the patient with the activities of daily living while teaching appropriate self‑care techniques Provide and maintain a safe environment for the patient Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition Qualifications 1 year experience as an LPN in a home care setting Current state license as an LPN Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing Proof of current CPR certification Ability to work flexible schedule Excellent interpersonal skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally When you switch to CareSense and bring your own client, who receives at least 30 service hours a week. Offer available for new or returning caregivers. Paid in 3 installments: $300 after working 30 days, $175 after working 60 days, $175 after working 90 days.
