• Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12 Hours, 18:00-6:30

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery travel nursing assignment at a facility that cares for a high-risk OB and culturally diverse population. RNs circulate on cesarean sections. Post-partum experience is preferred. First-time travelers are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including circulation on cesarean sections
• Care for a high-risk OB and culturally diverse patient population
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, as travelers are first to float
• Meet weekend staffing requirements as needed
• Manage patient visits, averaging approximately 20 visits per day within a unit of 11-15 rooms/beds and an average daily census of 15-20

Education Requirements

• Active California (CA) state RN license required (pending license not accepted)

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Labor and Delivery specialty experience required
• Post-partum experience preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift position: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:00-6:30
• Weekend requirement: Yes, to meet staffing needs
• Float requirement: Yes, to meet facility needs; travelers are first to float within their scope
• Facility cares for high-risk OB patients and a culturally diverse population
• Unit consists of 11-15 rooms/beds with an average daily census of 15-20
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
