Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Eureka, California. This role involves providing postpartum and newborn care within a high-risk obstetric environment. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day of assignment. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a start date of 07/27/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Eureka, California
• Shift Hours: 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
• Qualifications: Valid California license; at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Intermediate Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS); experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Schedule: Night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA state license, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP, 1 year of labor and delivery experience, Epic EMR experience, willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
• Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility to meet staffing needs; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
• Special Skills and Responsibilities: Administration of blood products, amniocentesis, high-risk delivery assistance, sterile speculum exams, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum and neonatal care, use of fetal monitoring, and other advanced labor and delivery procedures.
