Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Empower students and make a difference as an Intervention Specialist supporting elementary and middle school classrooms near Strongsville, OH. This contract position, running from August 6, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offers multiple opportunities to work with diverse learners in specialized settings, including Autism, Multiple Disabilities (MD), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Inclusion classrooms. With eight full-time openings available, you’ll find a supportive environment and the chance to contribute to student success across grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

Current, valid Intervention Specialist license
Proven experience in special education, particularly with elementary and/or middle school students
Expertise in supporting students in Autism, Multiple Disabilities (MD), Emotional Disturbance (ED), or cross-categorical settings preferred
Strong classroom management, collaboration, and communication skills
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and accommodations tailored to each student’s IEP
Manage caseloads ranging from 6 to 16 students in various specialized units or inclusion settings
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student growth
Maintain rigorous documentation and student records in compliance with state and federal law
Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data-based interventions
Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies based on student needs and progress
