We are seeking a professional and reliable Dispatcher to oversee daily transportation operations and ensure efficient, on-time service. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for directing route operations, managing ride schedules, and addressing real-time service issues. This role requires daily communication with providers, clients, and internal teams to maintain smooth and cost-effective performance. You will track and report sign-in/sign-out times, monitor route efficiency, and escalate service concerns to the General Manager as needed. Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor daily ride schedules to ensure timely service.
• Track and report driver sign-in and sign-out times.
• Assign trips to providers to optimize route efficiency.
• Oversee radio and telephone communications for quality assurance.
• Monitor system performance using Trapeze and address any issues proactively.
• Ensure all routes are completed with proper pickups and drop-offs.
• Identify and report service disruptions, late starts, or route closures to the General Manager.
• Take client calls and communicate any service issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with ADA Paratransit and Ride Choice policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with operations staff regarding scheduling and passenger concerns.
• Uphold On-Time Performance (OTP) and productivity standards.
• Provide hands-on training and coaching for same-day scheduling as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Reliability, professionalism, and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with dispatching software and MDT operations is a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Professional phone etiquette.

Preferred Requirements:

• Two (2) years of Dispatcher experience preferred.
• Two (2) years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ADA Paratransit and Ride Choice policies is preferred.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Experience with Trapeze.
• Knowledge of the service area.
