As a Procurement Specialist on our team, you will leverage your expertise in acquisition strategy, vendor negotiations, and compliance with DoD procurement policies to ensure mission success. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem‑solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to optimize procurement decisions and support our national defense objectives. In this role, you'll oversee the entire procurement lifecycle—from market research and vendor engagement to contract management and compliance audits. Using your comprehensive understanding of DFARS and FAR processes, you'll develop acquisition strategies, conduct cost analysis, and ensure adherence to federal procurement regulations. You'll validate vendor agreements, manage government contracts, and analyze procurement strategies to align with DoD acquisition policies and cost efficiency goals. As the authority on procurement compliance and strategy, your client will look to you for time‑critical recommendations, often under pressure. You Have Experience managing the full procurement lifecycle, including vendor negotiations and acquisition strategy development Experience with federal procurement regulations and compliance audits Experience with cost estimation, financial analysis, and supply chain logistics Knowledge of DFARS and FAR processes for procurement Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and government contracting Ability to conduct market research and negotiate vendor agreements Ability to analyze procurement strategies for cost efficiency and policy alignment Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, or 5+ years of experience in procurement management in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have Experience in advanced acquisition documentation and compliance audits Knowledge of emerging procurement technologies and automation tools Ability to mentor junior procurement staff and lead cross‑functional teams TS/SCI clearance Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
