This contract position offers a full-time schedule, providing around 39 hours per week, working with students in grades K-8. As a valued member of the student services team, you’ll contribute your expertise through evaluations, support meetings, and stepping in to assist students when a school social worker is unavailable.

This supportive school community is seeking an individual dedicated to the academic, emotional, and social well-being of students. School hours run from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, and professional development is held on Wednesdays, extending the day until 4:45 pm.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience with K-8 student populations
• Skilled in performing cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities, especially in multidisciplinary team settings
• Ability to participate in eligibility meetings, IEPs, and intervention planning
• Comfort supporting students directly when other support staff is unavailable

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and prepare written reports
• Participate actively in student support meetings and professional development
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create effective interventions
• Support crisis management and provide consultation on student mental health needs
• Step in to assist individual students as situations arise, ensuring no lapse in support
