Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. Willing to obtain is allowed.
• Certifications ACLS. Willing to obtain allowed for ACLS.
• Certifications NIHSS. Willing to obtain allowed for NIHSS.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Step-Down in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Must have experience with EMRs.
• Skills Assessment STD skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with accessing/managing ports, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, and PICC line management is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, HFNC, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and tracheostomy care/management is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with blood product administration, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, managing/titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, titrating insulin drips, post cardiac angiogram, post MI, pre/post cardiac procedures, and pacemakers is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with chest tubes, continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), ER holding, feeding tube care, PCA, starting/maintaining IVs, surgical drains, TR band, and wound care/wound vac is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with CVA, isolation precautions/PPE, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal, thrombolytic agents, traumatic brain injury, and rapid response/code teams is required.
• Additional Confirmations Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias is required.
• COVID Vaccine Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Local contracts within 150.0 miles not accepted.
