Booth #135Position OverviewThe Physician provides licensed medical care including diagnosis, treatment (inclusive of surgery or pre/post-surgical care where appropriate), case management and clinical research. The Physician manages complex and sometimes unpredictable situations. The Physician must be competent in technical, clinical and surgical skills (where appropriate), cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve those patients receiving the above-mentioned services. Our department treats GU patients at Main Campus and James Outpatient Care. The main campus has (6) Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators and 1 Varian Halcyon with Ethos adaptive package, 2 CT simulators, an MR and Brachytherapy OR suite equipped with a CT on rails located on the 2nd floor of this state-of-the-art facility. You would join a team of 6 GU radiation oncologists that together see >800 new patients per year. To accommodate our substantial growth and robust GU cancer radiation oncology program, we have substantial clinic space and a clinical support team that includes 4 Advanced Practice Providers and 4 RNs that practice as part of the disease site team. Our therapists, dosimetrists, and physics teams are also fully dedicated to GU cancer treatments.Job Requirements:MD or DO; Successful completion of an accredited residency and be Board Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology.
