Warehouse Manager (Food Manufacturing)

We are looking for a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Manager in Le Center, MN to plan and direct all aspects of Distribution, Shipping, and Receiving, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and customer service. This role will report to the Plant Manager and lead the warehouse staff. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe environment to conform to all OSHA, state and local laws and develop safety improvement plans as necessary. Inspect physical condition of warehouses, vehicles and equipment and order maintenance, repair, or replacement as required Prepare and manage expense budgets to ensure operations are in control. Make sound decisions that consider cost/benefit. Utilize lean tools to provide continuous improvement of all key cost metrics Provide leadership to warehouse staff, including recruiting and selecting employees, assigning work, providing Performance Management training, coaching and development, evaluating performance and building a motivated, effective team. Ensure the timely maintenance and updating of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system to support warehouse operations and compliance. Plan, direct and organize all phases of product receipt and distribution to comply with FDA and GMP requirements, including proper shipping and storage of temperature-controlled products. Ensure adequate, timely and accurate delivery of quality product to all customers. Review and analyze inventory and inventory procedures to improve inventory control methods and space management. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy. Ensure all warehouse employees are trained, certified, and licensed to operate material handling equipment, and SOP’s. Participate in the GFSI/FSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures & corrective actions Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment with at least 3 years in a leadership role Working knowledge of current DOT regulations Proven success in driving process improvement and operational efficiency Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and mentor high-performing teams Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear strategic direction and execute plans Proficiency with computer skills and ERP systems; Microsoft D365 experience preferred Knowledge of food safety and inventory control standards (HACCP, GFSI, FDA, etc.) Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed Ability to stand, walk, operate power industrial equipment, bend, reach, climb, and follow safety instructions EEO Statement Dessert Holdings and its related entities provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or any other characteristics protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Original Cakerie
