Job Title: Press Brake Operator Job Description

This position is accountable for performing press brake operations and activities. You will operate the Press Brake safely once the lead or others have set up and validated quality requirements for a specific part. Individuals are expected to demonstrate core competencies required throughout the organization, including safety, quality, production, and behavior. You will also bend parts up to 144 inches in length, perform simple setups on the Press Brake using part drawings and Bend Simulations, and set up/observe the ¼ inch rule, engaging the Lead or VSM if not possible. Additionally, you will record EPICOR transactions for material movement.

Responsibilities

• Operate Press Brake safely after setup and quality validation.

• Demonstrate core competencies in safety, quality, production, and behavior.

Work Environment

The work environment is moderate in noise level. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally, employees may need to sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure quality and production levels are met. Shifts available are 1st Shift: 5am - 3:30pm M-TH and 2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 2:15am M-TH.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
