Senior Accountant OpportunityLighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Accountant position! This is a direct placement opportunity and will be onsite in Buffalo, NY. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.What You'll Be Doing:Oversee and consolidate accounting operations across a global organization, collaborating with teams in Orlando, Dubai, Frankfurt, and Kuala Lumpur to ensure accurate financial reportingMaintain and reconcile the general ledger, performing monthly account reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of all financial dataLead the preparation of financial statements by collecting and analyzing information to produce balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other critical financial reportsServe as a key liaison with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and analysis to support the annual audit processManage subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions while resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate recordsEnsure compliance with GAAP standards and company policies across all accounting functionsSupport governmental reporting requirements and maintain strict confidentiality of all financial informationProvide analytical insights and detailed financial documentation to support special projects and strategic initiatives as neededWhat You'll Need to Have:Master's degree in Accounting requiredActive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required2-3 years of accounting experience, with public accounting audit experience strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reportingProven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple prioritiesStrong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teamsFlexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities and occasional overtime during audit periodsPay Range: $80,000-$90,000 annually
