Desired Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma
- CNC Operator experience
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong attention to details
- Understanding of written English
- Understanding of fractions and measurements
- Trouble shooting and use of good judgement
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clear criminal record check
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe operation of the CNC machine
- Sets-up stock to be machined using laser guides for placement of product
- Loads machines by lifting stock into position using mechanical lifters
- Verifies settings by measuring positions; adhering to set standards
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting; taking measurements detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Maintains workstation in a clean and orderly manner
- Observes and adhere to all safety procedures while on the production floor
- Other duties as assigned
