Lab Assistant

Labcorp is hiring a Lab Assistant in Burlington, NC for overnight shift work (Tuesday-Saturday, 10pm-6:30am). The role involves receiving, preparing, and processing clinical specimens while maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities
Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
Perform data entry and scanning of specimen and patient information
Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment; perform minor maintenance
Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain supplies
Maintain clean and safe work environment while documenting records
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
3+ months specimen processing or medical/laboratory experience (preferred)
