License: NC or Compact license pending ok for submittal

Certifications: BLS, ARRT MR, ARRT R

Must-Have:

• Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, and use of surface coils.
• Familiarity with T1 and T2 imaging techniques and CINE.

Description:

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in a cancellation and DNR. The start date is based on availability but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available with no other commitments. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. The final start date will be confirmed the Tuesday prior to the start week. The position requires floating to different units as needed. Contract staff will be assigned to a storm team or hurricane team when required. Staff may need to report during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Preferred familiarity with patient demographics including neonates, infants, and pediatrics is appreciated. Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients is required. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility. Pre-start modules must be completed online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as the browser. Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing and complete all testing within that timeframe. All required skills and experiences must be documented during the application process. Travel pairs are allowed, but must be on different units and disclosed.
