Account Manager - San Antonio

What is the role? The Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales revenue targets within their designated territory. This role involves managing the entire sales process, including customer engagement, quoting, order processing, product shipment, training clinical staff and distributors, supporting Aerogen distributors, launching new products in collaboration with the Marketing team, building strong relationships with physicians and clinicians, employing strategic selling skills, and proactively creating sales opportunities. In addition, the Account Manager is expected to conduct peer‑to‑peer and promotional events and handle other tasks as requested by their manager. Key Responsibilities Achieve sales revenue quota for Aerogen products within the assigned territory. Manage the entire sales process, including gaining customer interest, providing quotations, collecting orders, managing shipment, implementing and training clinical staff and distributors. Drive and support Aerogen distributors. Launch new products in collaboration with Marketing within the territory. Establish strong physician and clinician relationships. Apply value‑based and strategic selling skills. Innovate to create new sales opportunities for Aerogen products. Conduct peer‑to‑peer and promotional events in the region. Perform any other duties at the request of the manager. Required Education & Experience Minimum of a BA/BS Degree or Equivalent. Minimum of 2 years in a similar commercial role within the medical device industry. Key Skills Ability to work within a team environment to achieve agreed company goals. Strong financial acumen and ability to influence financial customers. Critical strategic thinking and ability to shape medium‑term and longer‑term strategy of the business. Strong learning application. High energy and self‑driven to achieve targets. Strong territory management skills and proven ability to drive multiple opportunities. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage a complex sales process that involves clinical and financial customers. Demonstrate a high degree of influencing skills. Maintain established core business hours with additional hours and weekends as warranted by project assignment or required travel.
