Sr. Financial Analyst

DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in preparing detailed financial analyses, supporting reporting initiatives, and delivering actionable insights to guide decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across various departments and contribute to the firm’s overall financial operations.Responsibilities:• Develop comprehensive financial reports and analyses using accounting systems, report-writing tools, and Microsoft Excel.• Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, financial statement reviews, and ad-hoc analyses.• Collaborate with internal teams to complete high-priority external surveys and deliver accurate data.• Partner with the FP& A leadership team to understand priorities and provide guidance to entry level analysts.• Lead and manage ad hoc projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.• Gain a deep understanding of the firm’s financial systems and operations to act as a subject matter expert.• Leverage tools such as Excel, Power Query, and Tableau to generate accurate and actionable financial insights.• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team’s objectives.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in financial analysis or related roles.• Strong expertise in accounting systems, reporting tools, and financial operations.• Advanced skills in financial analysis, modeling, and variance analysis.• Proficiency in utilizing data mining techniques to extract and analyze complex datasets.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Job typePerm
