Job Title RN (Registered Nurse) – IMC/PCU/Stepdown Location Wheeling, WV | Intermediate Care / Step-Down Unit Schedule / Job Type Contract | Rotating Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit managing diagnoses including chest pain, rule-out MI, CHF, arrhythmias, post-pacer, and pre/post cardiac catheterization patients Monitor, read, and independently interpret telemetry strips using Nihon Kohden monitoring equipment Titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetalol, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, and occasionally Lasix Manage radial bands and perform groin checks post-catheterization; manage patients on Tikosyn therapy (does not include sheath pulls) Float as needed to Telemetry or Med-Surg units with ratios up to 1:6, occasionally 1:7 in Med-Surg Collaborate with in-house Hospitalist, Intensivist, Respiratory Therapy, IV Team, and Pharmacy available 24/7 Required Qualifications

Active, unencumbered RN license (any licensing history or hits must be disclosed at time of submission) BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an Intermediate Care, PCU, or Step-Down setting Familiarity with Sunrise EMR Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips in a monitored care environment Experience managing post-catheterization patients including radial band management and groin checks Why Join Us
