Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel The Johns Hopkins Hospital NCCU: NEURO CRITICAL CARE UNIT NEURO CRITICAL CARE UNIT (NCCU) - Neuro ICU Required: RN License, BLS, EPIC; EXPERIENCE-Must have 2 years of Neuro Critical Care Preferred: ACLS, Critical Care Certification, trauma course Orientations: 2nd and 4th Monday of the month Starts/Orientation: Orientation: 2nd and 4th Monday of each month 36 or 48 hours - No Guaranteed Hours Weekends: 3 of 6 weekends Call : 2-on call per 6-week schedule Holidays As needed Float as needed to area of like skill set/ ICU/IMC JHH-NCCU: The patients in the Neuro ICU suffer from severe brain injuries, stroke or brain tumors and many are post-op from a neurosurgical procedure. The Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU) providers specialize in post-operative neurosurgical care to neurologically complex patients such as those with stroke, brain tumors, and nerve and muscle diseases. The patient population of the NCCU requires care providers to interface between the brain and other vital organ systems.
