Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly and compassionately explaining each procedure
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and keep patient records updated in our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
