Quick Facts Location: 2811 West Tieton Drive, Yakima, WA 98902 Start Date: 10/01/2026 End Date: 12/31/2026 (with potential extension) Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00) Hours/Week: 36 Employment Type: Contract (W-2) License/Certs: Active state Medical License and Board Certification in Hospital Medicine Experience: Minimum 2 years hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay: $207.48/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support during assignment What You'll Do Provide in-house hospitalist coverage during night shifts, managing up to 10 admits and cross-covering 100–130 patients in a facility with 100–130 beds Collaborate with nighttime support staff, including admissions and ICU cover providers Conduct assessments, manage patient care plans, and coordinate with staff for optimal patient outcomes Adhere to hospital policies and document all patient interactions thoroughly Support the hospital team in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, maintaining high-quality care standards What You Need Medical license valid in Washington State Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience Minimum 2 years of hospitalist experience preferred Ability to work night shift efficiently and independently Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This position is based at a well-respected hospital in Yakima, Washington.
