Product Owner

Job Description

This Product Owner will partner closely with Product Managers to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and maintain a prioritized product backlog that aligns with strategic goals. The role is responsible for breaking down features and epics into development-ready user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery. Acting as the bridge between business and technology, the Product Owner supports sprint execution, backlog refinement, stakeholder communication, and User Acceptance Testing. This individual will also work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and MLOps teams to convert AI and machine learning capabilities into executable product requirements. The ideal candidate has experience supporting AI-enabled products, managing dependencies and risks, tracking business outcomes, and ensuring delivered solutions meet both technical and business expectations. When needed, the Product Owner may assume delegated Product Manager responsibilities to maintain delivery momentum and product execution.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years of Product Owner experience managing Agile backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.

-Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled products, including working with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, or MLOps teams.

-Strong backlog management and prioritization skills, with the ability to break down epics and features into development-ready requirements.

-Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validating delivered functionality against business requirements.

-Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and partner effectively with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and business leaders.
