Commercial Plumber - Service & Installation

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Plumber to join our growing team in the Louisville area. In this role, you'll handle a variety of service and installation work across commercial job sites, helping ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including:
  • Water supply and distribution systems
  • Drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems
  • Fixtures, piping, valves, and pumps
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and pressure problems
• Work with piping materials including copper, PVC, cast iron, and PEX
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Perform pipe fitting, cutting, threading, and soldering
• Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety standards
• Assist with equipment installs (water heaters, boilers, etc.)
• Respond to service calls and occasional emergency repairs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area
• Accurately document work performed and materials used

What We're Looking For

• 2-5+ years of commercial plumbing experience
• Valid Journeyman Plumber License (or working toward it) preferred
• Experience with service and installation work in commercial settings
• Ability to:
  • Read blueprints and schematics
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Handle physical demands (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and reliability

Preferred

• Experience with:
  • Water heaters, boilers, and pumps
  • Preventive maintenance programs
• OSHA or safety training (a plus)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
