Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Nashville, TN 37205 for a 3‑month assignment with the possibility of a contract‑to‑hire opportunity. Duration: 3 months Pay Range: $20–$21.65 per hour (based on experience and certifications). Schedule: Mon‑Fri, Day Shift. Responsibilities Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge samples, and record maintenance data. Explain the venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures courteously to patients. Collect and store specimens according to established procedures. Use straight or butterfly needles as required. Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as specified by test order. Verify test requisitions or computer labels against scripts to ensure 100% accuracy. Package specimens for transport and store samples at required temperatures. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 2–7 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
