YUNA YANG is a New York–based fashion label founded by designer Yuna Yang, who approaches each garment as a work of art and a medium for storytelling. The label’s aesthetic reflects Yang’s experiences across diverse cultures and her background in fine arts and fashion design. Trained at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Istituto Marangoni in Milan, and Central Saint Martins in London, she brings a global perspective to contemporary fashion. Her work has been recognized internationally, including commissions for Milan Fashion Week and collaborations with noted designers. Interns gain hands-on experience in a highly creative and professional design environment.
Role Description
This is a short-term, full-time, on-site Fashion Sales Internship in New York, NY, running November 9–12 . The intern will support the team at our Holiday Fair sales event by preparing and organizing merchandise, maintaining product displays that reflect the brand’s aesthetic, and greeting and assisting customers. Responsibilities also include tracking inventory, updating sales materials, supporting order processing and customer follow-up, and providing general administrative support such as data entry, updating contact lists, and communicating professionally with buyers, clients, and partners.
Qualifications
- Interest or experience in fashion sales, marketing, or retail, including greeting buyers and supporting promotional efforts
- A good eye for styling and visual merchandising, to help with collection presentation and look coordination
- A strong passion for fashion and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, design-focused environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills, with attention to detail
- Availability to work on-site full-time in New York, NY, from November 9 to 12
- Ability to collaborate respectfully with a diverse team and handle multiple priorities
- Proficiency with basic office software and social media; prior fashion internship or retail experience is a plus
