Responsibilities:

• Maintain a sterile field and follow all principles of sterile technique
• Prepare procedure rooms, scopes, and equipment before and after procedures
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopy procedures
• Perform equipment functionality checks and basic maintenance
• Collect, label, and deliver specimens while preserving sterile technique
• Assist with patient intake, transport, vital sign setup, and documentation
• Ensure accurate and concise recordkeeping
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition or procedural needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (endoscopy, surgical, or related clinical setting)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or LVN (preferred)
• CST or CORT certification (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
