Gansevoort Meatpacking is seeking energetic, hospitality-driven Servers to join our Rooftop Bar & Lounge team. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and we are looking for team members who are personable, polished, and committed to providing an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities- Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, cocktails, wine, and other beverage offerings
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service areas
- Process guest checks and payments accurately
- Work closely with bartenders, runners, bussers, hosts, and management to ensure seamless service
- Follow all hotel, food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times
- Previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant, rooftop, lounge, bar, or nightlife environment strongly preferred
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and food service preferred
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods and safely carry trays and service items
Weekend availability is required. Candidates must have flexible availability and be able to work a variety of shifts based on business needs, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, nights, holidays, and special events .
Schedules will vary based on rooftop operations, weather, events, and business volume.
