As a Screener supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain alert to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter unauthorized access. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and materials entering or leaving the aerospace and defense location in accordance with established access-control requirements. Verify identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting access to restricted areas. Respond to screening alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, screening areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting irregular conditions. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
