About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership over the company's finance and accounting functions, with a focus on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years' of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 7 years' in government contracting. The Vice President of Finance will work closely with the executive team to ensure financial compliance with government regulations, lead the annual budgeting process, and develop financial strategies to support the company's growth and operational objectives. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Finance include overseeing all financial operations, leading a team of finance and accounting professionals, and partnering with the President/CEO and executive leadership to support the company's strategic and financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification strongly preferred, and an MBA is a plus. Advanced experience with Unanet ERP and a deep understanding of GAAP, FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance are essential. The role also involves leading financial process improvements, and accounting system optimization initiatives, and ensuring the integrity of the company's financial records and reporting. The candidate should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of providing strategic financial leadership while maintaining a hands-on approach to financial operations.
