Solutions Architect

Salary: $85,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field, or equivalent relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or asset-intensive environment
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including familiarity with rotating equipment and common industrial failure modes
• Experience conducting technical discovery, site visits, or customer-facing consultations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed for customer site visits, up to approximately 50%
• Preferred: Experience with condition-monitoring technologies such as vibration analysis, ultrasound, infrared thermography, oil analysis, or motor testing
• Preferred: Ultrasound Level I/II, Vibration Analyst Category I/II, or comparable reliability certification
• Preferred: Background in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or field service
• Preferred: Familiarity with CRM and project management tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms
• Preferred: OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour certification

• Partner with our Sales team as a technical subject-matter expert throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, demonstrations, and technical evaluations
• Visit customer sites in person and remotely to assess rotating equipment, review engineering documentation, and prepare scopes of work for proposed solutions
• Design and recommend condition-monitoring solutions across hardware, software, and services to suit customer assets and operational needs
• Develop proposals and business cases that demonstrate value through reduced downtime, safer inspections, energy savings, and improved reliability
• Support proof-of-concept engagements, technical evaluations, and RFP/RFI responses with the Sales team
• Maintain accurate, timely CRM records, including technical summaries, site-visit reports, and customer information
• Deliver product training and technical support to customers and our internal teams
• Work with our Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams to share customer feedback and improve our offerings
• Represent UE Systems at trade shows and industry events, providing technical expertise and helping capture leads
