CNC Mill Machinist

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high‑quality, tight‑tolerance components. You will work with engineering drawings, CAD/CAM programs, and a variety of materials including aluminum, steel, and plastics. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3‑axis and/or 5‑axis). Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications. Program or edit G‑code and/or CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360). Perform tool selection, offsets, and machine adjustments. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable). Maintain tight tolerances and ensure consistent part quality. Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for efficiency. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep a clean, safe work area. Skills & Qualifications 5 years of CNC milling experience (5‑axis preferred). Proficiency with G‑code and CAM software. Strong reading and interpretation of technical drawings. Experience with aluminum, steel, and plastics materials. Attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances. Good problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM. Self‑directed and committed to safety and cleanliness. Education: No degree required.
