Seeking a skilled CT Technician to perform complex diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced CT scanning equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in adult acute care, emergency departments, and specialized imaging techniques. Responsibilities:
- Operate Siemens and Phillips CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols.
- Assist with invasive procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and biopsies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in vascular, brain perfusion, colonography, and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, contrast administration, and patient details.
- Comply with all safety, radiology regulatory standards, and facility policies.
- Hold an active California license with no restrictions or disciplinary actions.
- Possess at least 2 years of recent CT imaging experience, including adult acute care and emergency settings.
- Certify in BLS, ARRT, and CT-specific certifications are required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in contrast skills, starting peripheral IVs, and multiplanar reconstruction.
- Successfully pass advanced EKG tests with a minimum score of 80%.
- Be able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed.
