Registered Nurse – Cardiac OR (CVOR) – Scrub/Circulate

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac surgical cases including CABGs, structural heart procedures, and minimally invasive surgeries
• Provide perioperative nursing care for heart failure patients requiring advanced support such as VADs, ECMO, Impella, and artificial heart devices
• Participate in heart transplant and TAVI/TAVR procedures as needed
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to deliver safe, high-quality care to adult cardiac patients of varying acuity
• Monitor and interpret telemetry throughout the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license – NY license required
• Minimum of two (2) years of operating room nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate in cardiac OR cases
• Telemetry competency
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with TAVI/TAVR procedures
• Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center
• Familiarity with heart transplant protocols and advanced heart failure surgical interventions
