Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac OR Operating Room Registered Nurse

• Independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases
• Manage CABGs, structural heart cases (Bentall), and minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Assist in heart failure cases (Impella)
• Preferred experience in Transplant, TAVI/TAVR

Requirements of the Cardiac OR Operating Room Registered Nurse

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) years experience
• Experience in operating room at a level 1 trauma center - preferred
• Able to circulate
• Telemetry
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
