Systems Test Technician

Volt is immediately hiring a System Test Technician for a leading manufacturing company in Poway!

As a System Test Technician you will :

• Set up test equipment to conduct various tests on prototypes and production models.
• Test rework and troubleshoot standard products.
• Conduct environmental tests of prototypes or models in environmentslike water and laboratory
• Write technical reports and create charts graphs and schematics.
• Configure test equipment for operational and environmental tests.
• Evaluate performance and reliability of prototypes and models
• Conduct interdepartmental product testing.
• Identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Meet productivity standards and complete work accurately.

This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

• Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Requires an associate degree technical diploma military training or equivalent experience.
  • Needs 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Must know electronics principles and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experienced in testing electronic assemblies with tools like LCD meter multimeters oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzersetc.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Desirable to have ERP/MRP system experience.
  • The selected candidate will be required to provide proof of right to work in the United States.
• Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
  • Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1 st Shift 5am-1:30pm

Pay Rate: $27 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
