divh2Campus Supervisor/h2pCompensation and Workdays $25.54 - $35.94 hourly (CSEA Salary Range 4) 206 days, 7 hours per day Bilingual Spanish signing incentive available (one-time) by passing test of Spanish fluency Bilingual (Spanish) stipend of $100.00 monthly by passing test of Spanish fluency Generous health, vision, and dental options for employees serving over 50% Overview Under the guidance of the Principal or designee, the Campus Supervisor is responsible for maintaining order within a school community by patrolling school buildings, grounds and parking lots, monitoring unauthorized visitors and activities on campus and supporting the administration in building a safe and secure school./ph3Responsibilities/h3pThe Campus Supervisor is responsible for the following:/pulliDevelops and maintains constant and effective communications with staff, law enforcement, and the public; deals fairly and convincingly with students, faculty, staff and the general public./liliMaintains confidentiality when dealing with sensitive personal information and acts as Mandated Reporter as prescribed by Board Policy and State/Federal law./liliEnforces district and site policies, procedures, rules and regulations regarding campus control, safety, security and appropriate student behavior, correcting improper, unsafe, unruly activities and reporting infractions to school administration./liliSupervises and directs students upon arrival and departure and enforces general traffic rules on District property./liliChecks students who are out of class or leaving campus during class time for proper authorization./liliMaintains orderly control of large crowds and enforces safety regulations at special events./liliMay assist with First Aid as directed./liliMonitors school visitors and requests identification from adults and students who appear to be out of place and assist them as necessary to the correct location when on legitimate school business or report/escort them off campus./liliMaintains records and files related to assignment such incident reports, referrals, parking tickets, confiscated property, lost and found property, etc./liliMonitors security cameras and works with District Office to ensure the appropriate working of security systems./liliEscorts students to class as needed and as directed by administration./liliConfiscates, according to guidelines, articles prohibited on campus./liliCommunicates with all school personnel as related to essential duties./liliPerforms other duties as appropriate to the role./li/ulh3Who We Are/h3pCampbell Union High School District, located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, is a small, close knit district committed to ensuring every student is ready for the future. Understand and carry out oral, written instructions, and ability to operate a two-way radio. Intercept Emergency Services; clearly direct and provide the location of the incident. Make accurate and concise written/verbal reports. Properly enforce district and site policies and procedures pertaining to student behavior and conduct in a professional manner, and ability to use techniques in controlling and motivating students. Diffuse potentially volatile situations calmly and with authority. Communicate effectively in verbal and written English language, punctuation, penmanship and grammar. Perform basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet and email applications. Perform duties without supervision, acting quickly, effectively and assertively in emergencies./ph3Experience/h3pEquivalent to completion of twelfth (12) grade. Two years of paid public contact work, preferably involving supervision of students or any combination of training experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities may be considered./ph3Licenses and Certificates/h3pPossession of a valid California drivers license with no restrictions, which would preclude driving on the job Possession and maintenance of a First Aid Certificate, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED) certification within six (6) months of hire./ph3Physical Demands and Work Settings/h3pThe usual and customary methods of performing the job functions require the following physical demands: some lifting up to 30 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position./p/div
