Security Clearance Type: None/Not Required Security Clearance Status: Not Required The effective Assembler candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing / production environment. What You Will Do: Ability to follow detailed Assembly Instructions, write descriptive notes for defects or process info, and accurately log information identifying the serialized parts used. Assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, repair and/or inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems. May set up and operate a variety of machine(s) and hand tools/instruments. May route, dispatch and expedite flow of material. Checks for work correctness. Material preparation, assembly, and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies. Perform wire/cable preparation, installation, crimping, and securing cables to specific torque using hand tools. Work performed in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational / technical education in a related discipline Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing databases and tools Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail Demonstrated ability to adhere to detailed work instructions and quality standards U.S. Citizenship is required Qualifications We Prefer: Related experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection. Basic computer and math skills. Experience with the use of common hand instruments (screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, torque tools and analyzers, etc.) Ability to shift job assignments based on production requests. Communicate effectively, develop more than one job at a time, and have the flexibility to work across shifts. Ability to work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals. Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, demonstrated process. Perform in-process inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
