Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Medical ICU setting with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies; all nurses providing direct patient care must pass a medication and math competency exam with a score of 90% or higher prior to assuming medication administration responsibilities
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, driven approach to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Arkansas RN licensure (or compact license eligible)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Critical Care experience
• Expected 36 hours per week; nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced ICU environment
• Strong medication knowledge including drug actions, side effects, dosage calculations, and IV management
