Production Operator (Quality Tester)

Quality Tester

Starting hourly payrate $24 - $28.20 per hour

4 – 10’s rotating shifts with Friday’s 8-hour shift as OT if offered/needed.

5:45a – 4:00p

3:30p – 1:45a

Role & Responsibilities:

· Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant quality lab setting.

· Performance of various quality testing tasks in factory environment.

· Must be willing and able to learn testing duties from instruction and self study, including the ability to recognize and respond to test trends.

· Possess basic communication and problem solving skills.

· Recording of quality data and other results in the manner required.

· Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.

· Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Able to work in a manufacturing lab setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.

· Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot lab testing equipment.

· Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.

· Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.

· Possess ability to become proficient at performing tests and taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications.

· Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.

· Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
