Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto is a 339-bed acute care hospital located in Southaven, Mississippi. Case Assignments: Cardiovascular (CV), Neurology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, General, Urology, Pulmonary (Bronchoscopy), Gastroenterology (EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP), Interventional Radiology and Well Peds

Shifts: Full time-8, 10 and 12 rotating shifts throughout the year with call requirements Monday-Friday. Weekend calls are voluntary.

Team Highlights: Highly autonomous environment. CRNAs are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. The anesthesia care team approach provides a collaborative work environment where CRNAs, MDs, and the surgical team share strong, respectful relationshipsled by inspiring and supportive leadership. Currently our care team model includes approximately 3 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs, who have created a cohesive group.

Requirements: Responsibilities Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements Current license as a registered professional nurse Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
