Join Our Team! We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to process high-volume invoices with speed and accuracy. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Process invoices using a cloud-based purchase requisition to invoice system.
- Maintain Accounts Payable subledger within SAP.
- Administer payment runs, ensuring proper approvals are in place before processing.
- Manage vendor setup and compliance (tax documents, electronic banking details).
- Reconcile vendor accounts and statements, investigating any discrepancies.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely payments.
- Submit and manage paper-based invoices as needed.
- Provide backup support and cross-training for team members.
- Assist with periodic tax filings and participate in special projects.
What You Bring: 3-5+ years of Accounts Payable experience. Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills. Strong communication and organizational skills with superb attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively. SAP experience is a plus. Knowledge of Canada provincial sales tax, T4A/Releve 1, and 1099 processing is a bonus.
