Medical Assistant

Pay: $21-$23/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Southlake, TX
Setting: Full-Time | In-Office

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a high-volume specialty clinic. This position will support providers with patient intake, clinical procedures, injections, medication-related tasks, and daily clinic operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience in orthopedics, pain management, spine, family practice, or urgent care is preferred.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs, including manual blood pressure, temperature, height, and weight
• Collect and maintain accurate patient medical histories and current medication information
• Prepare patients for provider visits and communicate relevant symptoms or concerns to the provider
• Assist with minor in-office procedures, including PRP treatments and injections
• Draw up medications and assist with administration of injections
• Collect and process urine samples for drug screenings
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, medications, and clinic areas
• Prepare appropriate information for upcoming patient visits
• Provide excellent customer service to patients both in person and over the phone
• Complete computer and data-entry tasks accurately
• Work collaboratively with providers and other clinical staff in a high-volume environment

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required
• Experience in orthopedics, pain management, spine, family practice, or urgent care preferred
• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-volume clinic
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of basic medications and common conditions they treat
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Proficient with computers and data entry
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English

• Full-time, in-office position
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift at least 5-10 pounds
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

$21-$23/hour
