Lending Specialist III

We're hiring a Lending Specialist III for a commercial lending operations role. This position is a great fit for someone with strong experience supporting commercial loan closings from approval through funding, booking, and ongoing loan servicing. You'll act as a key point of contact between Relationship Managers, internal operations teams, attorneys/counsel, and other stakeholders to help ensure loans close accurately and on time. Locations available: Jericho, NY and Manhattan, NY

What you'll be doing:

• Manage a commercial loan pipeline from approval through closing
• Partner with Relationship Managers, closing teams, servicing teams, counsel, and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and review closing documentation, due diligence items, insurance, and regulatory requirements
• Help resolve closing issues and escalate items when needed
• Support loan funding, booking, accrual reconciliations, payments, draws, payoffs, and other life-of-loan activity
• Review loan documents for accuracy and assist with loan closings when needed
• Serve as a point of contact for questions and requests throughout the loan lifecycle

What we're looking for:

• 57 years of experience as a Lending Assistant, Loan Processor, Loan Administrator, or similar commercial lending support role
• Strong knowledge of commercial loan closing and loan servicing processes
• Experience with Commercial Real Estate and/or C&I loans strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, and follow-up skills
• Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with nCino or a banking core system is a plus
