Mental Health Therapist

Role Overview This full‑time, remote position supports clients in Washington state and is part of the MinuteClinic team at CVS Health. Qualified candidates must hold a Washington state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and be willing to obtain additional state licensure if hired. In‑depth training, development, and support. Required Qualifications Current, active, and unencumbered Washington state license as LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT. Proven diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short‑term counseling skills using evidence‑based methodologies including motivational interviewing, problem‑solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Preferred Qualifications Exceptional interpersonal and team skills. Experience with or willingness to learn virtual therapy delivery. Deep understanding of psychosocial aspects of illness and health. Tech‑savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and multiple platforms. Understanding of insurance, Medicaid, Medicare billing requirements. Strong crisis intervention skills. Previous experience in a mental‑health clinic or hospital setting. Education Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university. Pay Range Typical pay range: $32.01 - $68.55 per hour/annual salary depending on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program.
