Job Title: Critical Care Float Pool RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Proficiency with EPIC, IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and Cardiology/Diagnostics. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and hold certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Proficiency with EPIC is required. Candidates must have experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management. Previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred. This role involves working with adult patients in high-acuity settings. Interdisciplinary support teams include physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams. This position requires adherence to scheduling needs, including weekend coverage. Reference requirements include two professional references, with at least one from a manager or supervisor. RNs must have a valid compact or state license in hand at the time of application. Education must be from an accredited program.
