About the Position

Job Title: Critical Care Float Pool RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Must have a valid compact or state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: o IV Start o Telemetry o Ventilator management experience Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend day shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. The ICUs include: Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and Cardiology/Diagnostics. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Proficiency with electronic health record systems is necessary. Candidates must possess experience in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams in providing comprehensive patient care. Expect a focus on patient diagnoses across all critical care settings. Candidates will be required to complete necessary credentialing processes promptly. Please ensure compliance with fingerprinting requirements. References from professional contacts are required. Former employees must have been away for six months or more to be eligible for travel assignments. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
