Candidate must have experience in caring for hemodynamically compromised patients. Common patient diagnoses include oncologic emergencies, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), gastrointestinal bleed, and sepsis. Required skills include mechanical ventilation, cardiac monitoring, and central venous catheter management. Experience with medication administration and complex treatment regimens is essential. Candidates must be proficient in computerized charting, specifically Epic. The position requires effective communication and teamwork within an interdisciplinary support system. Flexibility in scheduling is important, as shift assignments may vary based on departmental needs. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage critically ill patients and provide high-quality nursing care.
