Packager (1st shift)

- Location: Houston, TX 77003-1311
- Work Schedule : Mon to Fri, 6 am to 3 pm
- Hourly rate: $118/h
- Contract: W2 contract under staffing supplier, with 3-month duration (temp to hire)

Qualifications & Experience:

• 1–2 years manufacturing experience (chemical industry preferred).

• 1+ years forklift driving experience.

• Strong English reading, math, and technical skills; ability to follow detailed instructions and complete required training/certification.

Work Conditions & Schedule:

• Physical demands: Regular lifting (up to 50 lbs independently, up to 75 lbs with assistance), standing, walking, and climbing.

• Environment: Exposure to chemicals (acids/bases), fumes, moving machinery, high places, heat, weather, and noise.

• Schedule: Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production demands.
  
  

  Key Duties:

• Operate packaging equipment via field and computer controls.

• Safely move, store, and package chemical materials using forklifts.

• Follow EHS safety rules, emergency shutdowns, and maintain high quality/housekeeping.

• Complete operational logs, inventory, and inspection sheets.
